Equitas Gurukul Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Trichy takes pride in being the first Gurukul to be established in the year 2010 by EDIT, enrolling students for classes LKG to VI Std.
The school has grown consistently and has produced 5 years of 100% pass results in Std. XII Board exams.
Currently, the school has a total student strength of 1196, a faculty strength of 64, and an alumni strength of 146 students.
The school continues to perform well in Std X, XI & XII board exams. The Academic year 2022 - 2023 marked good performance with an overall school average of 73%.

Mrs. Ankayal Kanni, M.Sc., B.Ed., HDSE

An experienced and committed educationist with 18 years of experience in the field of Education, Mrs. Ankayal Kanni grew up to become the Principal In-charge of Trichy Gurukul.
As a long-standing teacher of Social Sciences, French and Economics, she is passionate about being a teacher as well as developing her teachers.
Her potential for bringing out academic excellence among her students during her tenure as a teacher makes her an able school administrator.
With her wealth of experience and empathetic leadership, Mrs. Ankayal Kanni is upgraded as the principal of the school to make a significant impact in the field of education.
