Equitas Gurukul Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Trichy takes pride in being the first Gurukul to be established in the year 2010 by EDIT, enrolling students for classes LKG to VI Std.
The school has grown consistently and has produced 5 years of 100% pass results in Std. XII Board exams.
Currently, the school has a total student strength of 1195, a faculty strength of 60, and an alumni strength of 110 students.
The school continues to perform well in the Std. X, XI & XII Board exams, even in the pandemic year AY 2021-22, with a 100% pass result and a school average of 77.8% in Std. XII Board exams.

Mrs. Ankayal Kanni, M.Sc., B.Ed., HDSE

An experienced and committed educationist with 18 years of experience in the field of Education, Mrs. Ankayal Kanni grew up to become the Principal In-charge of Trichy Gurukul.
As a long-standing teacher of Social Sciences, French and Economics, she is passionate about being a teacher as well as developing her teachers.
Her potential for bringing out academic excellence among her students during her tenure as a teacher makes her an able school administrator.
