Incepted in year 2011, Salem Gurukul has the pride of being located in the educational hub of Tamil Nadu, and is known in its neighborhood, as a school of active learning.
The Year 2017 marked the school’s maiden achievement, with a 100% pass results in the SSLC Board exams.
Salem Gurukul continues to uphold its success over the past 6 years with 100% pass results in std X, XI & XII Board exams.
Currently the school has the strength of 709 students.
The AY 2022-23 has been a brilliant year for Salem Gurukul, as the students passed in flying colours in the Board exams, securing a school average of 77.6 % with 5 Centums.

Mrs Hemalatha. S, M.Sc., B.Ed., M.Phil

An alumna of esteemed institutes – Auxilium College, Vellore and Presidency College, Chennai, Mrs. Hemalatha S is the Founder-Principal of Salem Gurukul. She started her teaching career in the year 1998 and grew up to become the Principal in the year 1999.
With more than 2 decades of rich experience in the Education field, Mrs. Hemalatha is one of the pillars of Equitas Gurukul, contributing to the development of students and teachers.
She has been serving Equitas Gurukul for the past 10 years and has been consistently working towards building positive relationships with parents and students that have manifested in academic success year after year.
